Help - Virus - Worm/Agobot

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Hey there!

I am pretty new to computers so be gentle.

Using AVG virus protection I have just discovered I have 3 viruses in my computer.

1. Worm/Agobot.19.N in C:\\WINNT\SYSTEM32\SYSCONF.EXE

2. Worm/Agobot.15.AP in C:\\WINNT\SYSTEM32\WINX16.EXE

3. Worm/Agobot.16.T in C:\\WINNT\SYSTEM32\netlink32.exe

The Anti Virus System tells me that these viruses cannot simply be removed. What affect will these viruses have on my computer? And if it is possible, how do I remove them?

My plight is made a little more difficult by the fac that I am living overseas surrounded by non English speaking people so I would be most grateful for any help I can get.

Thank you in advance for your time.

Cheers

Good luck, hope you squash those worms down.

If The Viruses are not affecting your computer then u u can just leave em there.
If u want 2 try (taking a Risk) go 2 the folder that the viruses r in like C://windows/system32

Well If You Cannot Remove Your Virus and they do affect your computer u might need 2 format your hard drive.
