xp taskbar help!!!

I just wanted to know where to go to change the color of my taskbar...

ok thats an ez 1: right click on desktop then properties,The Appearance Tab, In Appearance Tab You may change it in the color scheme(default Blue, Olive Green And Silver)

i mean i used the old 98 taskbar cause i dont like the look of the xp one and i wanna change the color of the 98 taskbar

yea the 98taskbar is silver i wanna make my taskbar black so its hidden with my background

oho srry u cannot change ur taskbar 2 blak but u can change it 2 silver or olive green if u want 2 ill telll u how

i am srry all u can do is get windows 98 which is pretty old...

Actually, you can change the color of the taskbar by right-clicking on the desktop, choosing properties, choose Appearance tab, and choose "3D Objects" from the dropdown menu ... change the light gray default to the color fo your choice (also making sure you choose the appropriate text color that contrasts well with it).

However, this also changes the color of your window panes, browser backgrounds, etc.

id recomend windows blinds.

and i think xteq setup (a coonfiguration program) has an option to give it a background. if true, you could just make a bmp 1 pixel of the color you want. ill try to find it.

cant find it, i checked registry, xteq setup. go for windows blinds, or change your entire theme to suit your needs better.
