I heard a rumor that Spybot is no longer offering updates to their program. Is that true? Currently I use Ad-Aware, Spybot, and Spyware Blaster (configures IE so that spyware is less likely to end up on your computer in the first place)
Anyway, if it is what's being said about Spybot updates, what is the best compliment to Ad-Aware?
I run Windows 2000 Pro if that matters.

Spybot does not offer updates to the 1.2 version, the new 1.3 version has been having regular updates available. However there is a bug having to do with DSO exploit not being fixed when the program is told to fix it; you can use DSOStop2 if this problem is found on your system:
