Hi,

Being new to broadband, I am now able to download songs etc from sites (alright i know its illegal!)

I have used Kazaa in the past but this caused my pc no end of problems with spyware etc.

Is there a site which i should be using which is free, and very easy to use?

If i get told not to speak about this on here as it is piracy etc, does anybody know of a good forum where i can get help?

Any help is really appreciated, especially from those who are able to really make things simple!!

Thanks in advance!!!!

Search Google for Kazaa Lite or WinMX ... just make sure you install a good spyware/adware detector/remover before you download anything, and make sure your antivirus software is updated with the latest virus definitions.

Check our Downloads page under Utilities for Ad-aware and Spybot Search & Destroy...

am i right in thinking that kazaa will not work properly if some aspects of spyware etc are removed or not allowed to run with the programme?

Are there any better methods of downloading movies etc on the net? if so where are they??? Help!

I dunno about Kazaa, but Kazaa "Lite" doesn't need spyware to run, nor does WinMX...

I like BearShare, but of course only for downloading non-copywrite-protected files, of course.

kazaa network sucks. though kazaa lite is the best of all the clients for it.
shareaza is very easy to use and acceses alot.

i personally use direct connect. (DC++ client) any hub i log into has at least 100TB of content. i usually log into 2 or 3 hubs at a time. great speeds, usually my max. and it REQUIRES you to share content that isnt crap. i have over 120 gigs of content i share. so i get into big hubs and fast speeds. its not for noobs though. they screen heavily for child porn and beastiality and snuff, and those who have it get banned from the network. it keeps the sickos off the network. so nearly %100 of the content is legit and functional.
