Found this oddly interesting site. Actual patents that show how inventive the human mind can be. However, these patents are absurd, hilarious, and a study in useless functionality. Take a look at this UK site, and enjoy this lighter side.

The Japanese actually have an art form based entirely on useless inventions.
The name, as I recall... well no to be honest I don't remember it so I had to go search for the name online... it's called "Chindogu".
