Hehe well actually it's just that this one song has been stuck in my head for nearly a week... Utada Hikaru's "Distance"...
I certainly don't regret buying the CD while I was in Japan. Wonder how much they sell it here, or rather, how long it'll take before they start selling it here!

I think the nadesico theme takes the cake. Followed by outlaw star.
Bebop's is good, but I'm not a huge fan of jazzy stuff. Most of what yoko kanno does kicks major ass though. I've got a ton of anime soundtracks she's done.

eh, i guess the only J-pop artist i know is Megumi Hayashibara who has done some anime themes(love hina, slayers[i think])

I don't think I've heard any of it except in some anime films, but let me tell you, last night I heard it.
or more specificly, 30 minutes ago.
Where to begin...
running from slogra and gaibon, I suddenly jump over a tall building and land on the roof, for some reasons this thread kept assaulting me on all sides and I was finally beaten down into a chair and forced to hear jpop for 40 odd hours until slogra and gaibon busted me out so THEY could kick my ass and then I woke up and slept on my desk.
the moral of the story?
