Just Installed Windows XP

Hey I just installed windows XP and i have a couple questions. First, I cant seem to find scan disk. Its not located under system tools like disk defrag and disk clean up. Secondly whenver I try to view some music videos at launch.yahoo.com somehow internet explorer always freezes up and i have to ctrl+alt+delete out of it. any help would be appreciated

Actually it Chkdisc now. 
Chkdisc...
1. Goto My Computer.
2. Rt. Click on C:\ (or what your looking for...)
3. Click Properties.
4. Tools Tab
5. Error Checking box
6. Click Check now.
As for Yahoo! Launchcast make sure you meet all the requirements...

Start >Run > Cmd (press enter)
In the command window type :
ChkDsk /? (press enter) for more details ..
