Reset MSN Messenger

Hi, I'm hoping that someone here might be able to help me?

I've had a bit of a hic-up with MSN Messenger, and have ended up with huge input text area that I can't resize/shrink back to the normal size.

I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling MSN (6.2) but as I feared, this didn't help.

Does anyone know where the MSN setttings are stored so I can delete/edit them? I should imagine it's in the regestry somewhere, but would not know where to start looking.

Can anyone help? Thank you. (PS, I'm using XP Pro)

Setting it back to default...

1. Close MSN Messenger (kill process msmsgs.exe).
2. Goto Run
3. Type %appdata%\microsoft
4. Click OK

5. Goto MSN Messenger folder.
6. Backup any custom display pictures or custom emoticons you have.
7. Delete the MSN Messenger folder.

8. Goto Run
9. Type regedit.exe
10. Delete HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MSNMessenger key

Yes. I did it to remove MSN messenger & to switch over to Yahoo! IM.

Hehe... It suites my needs. Other than that it's just as bad as MSN or AIM.
