DSL wireless network

Ok i have D&E DSL internet. I have the dsl modem's ethernet cable going into one NIC card on the main computer. I boot the computer and then use Sygate manager to share the DSL with the rest of the network. I then have another NIC card in that computer that has an ethernet cable running to my regular router. I also have a D-link DI-624 Airplus Xtreme G 802.11g wireless router. I still want to use my regular router. So i have tried running the "out" NIC card into the wireless and then run the regular router through the wireless, but I cant seem do dial Sygate when i do this. All my platforms are running XP. someone please help me.

I'm no LAN wiz, but i do run my own home network.

This soudns liek 1 of 2 probs...
1. make sure your using a regular STRAIGHT through cat-5 cable going form the modem to your router. If this is a flip cable this i probably your problem, otherwise goto 2

2. I;m thinkign your trying to dial in using the the secondary router (where you would be pluggin the modem into one router (router 1), and router 1 is plugged into router 2, then your tryign to dial in with router 2.) don't do that, hehe. Or theres a gateway ip conflict.

Firstly you'll want to make sure your routers each have a unique gateway ip (I have an smc ired router that used 192.168.2.1, I nnow i have a new pretty linksys one that uses 192.168.1.1) referr to each amnuals router that this is different from each other and if there the same, the manuals shoudl tell you how to change this.

try running your dsl modem through your WIRELESS router, then branch out to as many computer as possible from the WIRELESS routers to wired computers. obvisouly use 1 wired conenction from the WIRELESS router to the WIRED router. Plug in all the remaining computers intot he wired router.

Now setup the info for dialing information for your dsl modem with your WIRELESS router, from there everythign should work fine .

Note: final statements key work is "SHOULD"
