NBA LIVE 2004 connection problem wif router

dunno if any of u r having the same problem, when i connect wif my friends wif direct IP, the screen jus stays as 'connecting' this happens when i try to connect wif ppl hu have a router or LAN.....and when i create the saem thing happens (they can't connect to me) becuase im using a router... is there a way to make the Direct ip connection work when using a router or LAN?

You need to configure your router to play the game.
If you are using a firewall, disable it & try reconnecting.
