Hosting CS and playing in server on same machine... lagless way at all?

Hey everyone, I recently upgraded to "rogers Extreme" and with it, I got a 800kbps upload (~100kb/sec) meaning I could actually host a decent server for a few friends and I.. however after some research, turns out that hosting a dedicated server and then trying to join it (both on same machine) will end up causing a lot of lag (since resources are split) .. however if I just create the server like 12 of my friends can join it and play fine, perfect with no lag.. the only problem is that I'm not included! :P

I only have this one computer, so I cant dedicate a computer to just hosting the game.. and I do wanna make use of my new internet connection... Is there anyway to host a game and have my friends join -- without all that fussy lag?

I know when I used to play Soldier of Fortune 2, I was able to host a game and then join it, and there wouldnt be a problem (my ping would always be zero, and my friends would lag every now and then [back when I had a crappy upload rate]) but now I'm sure if i did that with SoF2 there wouldnt be any problems..

Any help/suggestions? CS is such a wonderful game

-Dave
