Microsoft's Case To Be Reheard

NEW YORK (CNNfn) - A federal appeals court returned Microsoft's four-year-old antitrust case to a lower court Friday, ordering a new judge to determine what action should be taken against the software maker as a remedy for its anticompetitive practices.
Colleen Kollar-Kotelly will be judging the new case, while U.S. District Court Judge Thomas Penfield Jackson's previous decision that Microsoft had a monopoly, stands. Microsoft appealed Jackson's decision to split the company into two parts, thus resulting in this new case. Read more here.
