I have a SMC7004ABR, and how do you open ports for Starcraft to host games?

In starcraft, i can host games, but people can't join because of my router I think.
I logged on to my site that is my ip address and went to special applications..
What do I do now? I'm trying to allow port 6112-6119 TCP and UDP out and in to
host games in Starcraft but I don't how to. The required fields are Trigger Port,Trigger Type,Public Port,Public Type, and Enabled. Please help me!

Greetings!
I'd bet you are correct about the router issue. I'm assuming that you have multiple computers on your LAN? (More than one computer connected to your router.) Is this correct?
If it is, then what you want to set up is something call port forwarding. Basically, a signal (for StarCraft) is sent to your router, but then the router gets confused and doesn't know what computer to send it to. If you specify (in the router firmware settings) that ports 6112-6119 should be forwarded to your computer's IP address, it should work.
I can give you specific instructions (and maybe even pictures). I'll look up the specs and help you out. (I'm at work at the moment, so give me a little while.)
[Edit:] Here's a link to the manual. [PDF]
Cheers!

It looks like port forwarding is done through virtual servers on your specific router. Here's what the manual says:
Virtual Servers
If you configure the Barricade as a virtual server, remote users accessing services such as Web or FTP at your local site via public IP addresses can be automatically redirected to local servers configured with private IP addresses. In other words, depending on the requested service (TCP/UDP port number), the Barricade redirects the external service request to the appropriate server (located at another internal IP address).
And here's a picture of the screen.
So, let's say that your computer has a LAN IP of 192.168.2.1 and that you want to make ports 6112 - 6119 accessible to your computer. You should type in the following:
1. 192.168.2. [ 1 ] [ 6112 ] TCP [ 6112 ]
2. 192.168.2. [ 1 ] [ 6113 ] TCP [ 6113 ]
3. 192.168.2. [ 1 ] [ 6114 ] TCP [ 6114 ]
4. 192.168.2. [ 1 ] [ 6115 ] TCP [ 6115 ]
5. 192.168.2. [ 1 ] [ 6116 ] TCP [ 6116 ]
6. 192.168.2. [ 1 ] [ 6117 ] TCP [ 6117 ]
7. 192.168.2. [ 1 ] [ 6118 ] TCP [ 6118 ]
8. 192.168.2. [ 1 ] [ 6119 ] TCP [ 6119 ]
Read the paragrah following the screen shot in the manual, it explains a little more. I hope this works for you! If you have any other problems/questions, please ask!
Cheers!

You don't need to repeat them. Once will be enough. Basically, you don't need to fill up the whole page, just enter what you need, which is ports 6112-6119. That's eight entries.
Cheers!

I guess my only other suggestion would be to read your manual. I don't personally have that router, so I can't see what your options are. I'm pretty sure you need to use the virtual server though... make sure you have the correct ports and all that jazz.
Good luck.
Cheers!
