I have just signed up on Battle.net as I'm a Starcraft addict.
The problem is, I can't even play a game as within 2 minutes the game crashes and I know it has something to do with me because I've tried to join and host alot of games....is something wrong with my TCP/IP settings or is it something else? Somebody please help!!!

Post system specs.
Post Bnet erro log.
Questions...
Any specifc error message?
Are you using a firewall?
Disable it, try reconnect.
Are you using a router? (If yes, list the model/type.)
Suggestions...
1. Run AVG.
2. Run Ad-aware & Spybot.
3. Uninstall any cheats/hacks/bots.
4. Update your vid card driver.
5. Reset the server list...

I have Windows XP and as I know it has a built in firewall, i did try disconnecting it when I began getting problems....I don't get any particular error message I just get huge amounts of killer lag right from the start and then I get a message accross the screen saying my connection to battle.net has been lost (the internet connection is actually lost).
Sorry I dont know anything about routers but I dont think I use one because I have a 56k modem (lol).....but I've been told this doesn't matter for starcraft.
Where do you find this 'start' option for resetting the b.net server?
Thanks alot

Turn off the MS firewall.
Control panel->Network Connections->Rt. click on Dialup ISP->Properties->Advanced Tab->Internet Connection Firewall box->Deselect->OK.

If your not on a network, you don't have a router. Make sure your modem driver is updated. Also try different dial numbers.

Try to connect to all four Battle.net Realms (USEast, USWest, Europe, and Asia).
If your having trouble with only one realm, you may be temporarily banned (lasts anywhere from 5min to 2days.)
Post back if you have any other questions.
