Nero retrieval serial number

I have a version of Nero which came with a Phillips CDRW4000 burner. My problem is that after having a new motherboard fitted I cannot access it without my serial number. I have tried the regedit way with no luck the only paths i get are default havereadswfrom, and no sign of serial number. I do not have any nero packaging with it on either.I have got in touch with nero and told them this but there seems to some language barrier as all the advice i recieved was what I ahve done already. Any advice would be gratefully received

I have had the sme problem.I contacted Nero in Germany,and they supplied a new number.
The address is/was ggreiner@nero.com(he seems to be fairly well up the tree).
Serial number removed. -Tecil

lol dude, your help is appreciated, especially the email addy is really helpful, but any mod on this forum will tell you this: do not share serials, so hope if you see this in time then you'll edit your post and remove the serial, if not, a mod will edit it, that's for sure

have you tried looking in here "My Computer\Hkey_Local_machine\Software\Ahead\Nero-Burning Rom\Info", ? , that's where the serial lives on my machine.

look i had the same prob, but i just used a mates serial, i only use nero for cd/dvd backup and alota people i know use cracked nero6 for ultra ed. its good tho. i wouldnt mind the corp suite to go right now. mmm!
