Ok, I know about BSPlayer, but I was wondering if there is a way to fix XP's problem with taking screen shots of video. I've got some video clips in .ogm format and can't play them with BSPlayer. If you don't know what I'm talking about... XP has this problem when you take a screen shot when there's a video player on the screen, there's a hole where the video is that you can see through to the desktop where , if the video is going, it will play in the screen shot, really wierd. Anyways, thanks.

You wouldn't happen to have it yet, would ya? I can't find anythin' on Google. Maybe who put the codec pack together might help. Most codec packs out there are for .avi files. Like I said htough, the problem isn't playing it, it's getting a screen shot, but if I can get it to play in BSPlayer then that'd be great.

turn off hardware acceleration.
windows renders the window environment, then sends that out the back of your pc. on its way the video card "overlays" the video on top of the windows screen. disabling the use of your video card (hardware acceleration) during the process make windows use your cpu to render the film and then the screen shot with video becomes accessable to windows and the prt scr function.
tools>options>performance tab> video acceleration >none.
turn it back after you are done.

I actually knew about that, but I use VLC Media Player to play the .ogm, and after you said that, I thought, "Perhaps I can find somethign like that in VLC." And sure enough, it's well hidden, but it's there. Thanks. I'm back in business.
