Connecting 2 Computers with a Printer Cable?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Is there any possible way to connect 2 computers each having a printer port, and using a printer cable? I have heard of someone doing this somewhere, O think you have to have some kind of program to do it though. I'm planning to get an old computer (486 with Intel Speedbooster, Win95 and 24 megs of Ram) on my network .

Does this allow shared internet?

I dont think so .. If it does allow you wont have any decent speed ....

Well i know about the speed part but it is a slow computer, so if it had a high speed it would process the incoming speeds fast enough, so it would be slow anyways.
