1. I'm going to the University of Toronto this September. What kind of fun stuff is there to do around here? Aside from going to a crapload of concerts and Raptors.
2. And where can I buy a top end computer for cheap around here? (CDN$3000 is my budget, it better be half a supercomputer.)
3. Who lives in Ontario around here?

university of toronto?!?! that's crazy dude, i got accepted into simon fraser university and just moved to burnaby, i was at victoria for two weeks. what are you going to major in? i'm kinda scared 'cause i don't know what canadians are like. well you can always check out the kiwinis kavaliers and bunch other drum corp. man here on the west end of canada there's no drum corp, there's only one and that's in calgary, alberta, i'm going to try out anyway, till the next summer rolls around. aight dude, good luck in toronto mang.

I feel sorry for you..SFU looks and feels like a concrete tomb. I know that area very well, I wouldn't be surprised if I know the street you live on.

oh yeah. I'm planning on major'ing in urban, economics and social geography. Along with a minor or double major in Geographic Information Systems or Environment and Resource Management.

haha yeah, the academic quad, it's all concrete alright. i will be living in one of the dorm, i don't have a car and my earliest class is 8:30 in the morning so i don't think i'll be comfortable waking up that early, cook my breakfast, rush out to catch the bus.
i was going to go to uvic but i had complication regarding the classes there.
right now i live in a friends house on willingdon, it's right across the street from the metrotown mall

It's a pretty big building...new to boot! What floor are you on? I think I'm on the 7th.

Of course I'm bringing my comp. My parents got me a bitchin' laptop for graduation because they were quite pleased I chose UofT over Boston University which costs like 3 times as much.
I think I'm on the 14th floor. Way the hell up there. The building rocks, I'm so happy I didn't get stuck in 89 Chestnut. They put me there originally but I nagged them until they transfered me. The only downside is that 89 Chestnut was a good deal closer to Queen St. I do so enjoy Queen St.
I won't be able to drink legally until next July. Which is ultra lame, but a lot better than the three years I have to wait in the States.

I gotta figure out how to run from West campus to East campus in the 5 minutes between classes...I'm gonna need a rocket powered bike.
2 of my RL friends were gonna room with me, but one decided to go to UBC because he missed the course registration deadline ..what a retard haha.
Do you know anyone else at the U of T? I know like 30 people from my school going there lol.

30 people? Good gracious! I've got a distant cousin who goes to the UofT, but I haven't even met him yet. UofT isn't terribly popular in the States, you know? Most people haven't even heard of it. When I tell people I'm going to school in Canada they always say "Oh, McGill?" without fail.
