There it is, the link to the best tweak I've seen for 56k, I use dsl, but I still used some of the registry entries that they had. Supposedly it boosts 56k "speed" by at least 10%!

well basically it is an Internet Explorer tweak, so all versions of windows can do it, and it also doesn't only effect dialup, i found that it actually effescts broadband too, with all the dns registry edits the have.

If it's an IE tweak, the only "boost" you'll get is for surfing the web...

well most of it is for dialup modems and stuff. i just used the registry tweaks.
