Microsoft announces Japanese Xbox titles

There are more than a few people doubting the Xbox. Many think that it simply doesnt have enough to compete with Sony's PS2. One reason people think this is due to the initial lack of japanese support for the system. Traditionally, the systems that succeed are the ones that have a steady ballance of quallity Japanese and American games.
Good news for Xbox fans. Microsoft recently announced 20 Japanese titles that will be avaliable at launch of soon following. Many of them were from high profile Japanese developers such as: Capcom, Konami, Sega, and Genki. Names like Silent Hill, Onimusha, Sega GT, and Jet Grind Radio will certainly help sell systems all over the world, eventually leading to success for the often doubted Microsoft -at least when it comes to the Xbox

Of course only time will tell if the Xbox is a success or just another 3DO, but having strong Japanese software support never hurt anyone.
