I have recently installed XP sp1 over windows 98 and when I open windows media player I get an internal application error message. Some of my web pages don't finish loading all the way while others won't load at all. To fix the media player problem I do this:
Click Start then Click Run.
type in regsvr32 jscript.dll
Click OK
Then Click start again and then Run.
Type in regsvr32 vbscript.dll
Click OK
This will fix the media player problem and all web pages load fine. Here's the problem. When I play an online video game (such as Far Cry) or restart my computer windows media player doesn't work and the web page problems reappear. How do I fix this so I don't have to
Click Start then Click Run.
type in regsvr32 jscript.dll
Click OK
Then Click start again and then Run.
Type in regsvr32 vbscript.dll
Click OK
everytime I start my computer. Thanks for any advice or help.
