Storm.dll

I put in the disc and it goes to start up but then it comes up with an error message which says "this application has failed to start because storm.dll was not found". What do i do besides reinstalling it because i have tried that. someone please help.

First, go to your Warcraft III directory and check to see if storm.dll is actually there. If it isn't, the game didn't install successfully; check your CD for any dirt or damage and close *all* non-Windows running background programs before installing, especially an antivirus program if you have one.
If storm.dll is there, it's been modified to the point that the game no longer "recognizes" it. The only cause of that problem that I know of is using some third-party Warcraft III programs, like a World Editor enhancement.
Note: if you didn't delete your Warcraft III directory from your hard drive before reinstalling, you may need to do that if storm.dll is corrupted and it isn't being replaced. Be sure to back up your saved games/replays/maps/etc. before reinstalling.

type in "dll downloads" in a Google search engine and go to a site that allows downloads. You should be able to find it on one of them
