I got a router about a week ago, and i knew ppl who had routers couldn't host games, so i configured it, and now i can host perfectly. But that wasn't the problem. the problem came when i tried to join my friend's game. I knew he could host 'cause i've joined his games before, when i didn't have the router, but now whenever i tried to join games, I get a message saying "The game you attempted to join could not be found..." Whats that all about?! I have no idea how to fix it because everywhere i look, they give you help on how to HOST , not how to JOIN. It'd be great if someone could help me. Btw i have Netgear 54 mbps wireless router WGR614.

By the way, after the router, when i connect to Battle.net, sometimes i get this message saying "Unable to connect to battle.net, you may be connecting to invalid server, not connected to internet, check your modem, blah blah blah..." Or it freezes during "downloading files". This problem usually goes away after I reload Wc3 a couple times.... But it really gets kind of annoying. =/

Are other people able to join your friend's game?
Does that other problem go away if you bypass the router?

Maybe you got a bad router...?
I mean that's possible right...?

Same thing is happening to me - Anyone have any ideas?

Fishhead! I just fixed it... Go into your router properties, go to port forwarding/port triggering and turn OFF port triggering

Woah, I was having the same problem and just gave up on ladder games entirely... Turning off Port Triggering on my Netgear router fixed it all! Thanks so much, Leopor!!

Umm Ok.. I'm having the same problem.... and I see that by fixing it, all you have to do is turn off port triggering..... but the problem with me is... what if my router doesn't even have that option? What do I dO?
I have a Broadband SWEEX LB000020
