Blizzards (un)announced project

I dont know if anyone posted about this yet...but the cat is outta the bag. Somehow a few thousand copys of the blizzard insider got sent out, giving a link to the page for the unannounced project (the page was of course immediatly tooken down after a few people saw it. The insider was meant to ship later this week) The new game? World of Warcraft. A MMORPG, crazy aint it? I cant picture blizz making a game like this and being able to not screw it up as much they do other games they make. But this is it. Dii.net confirmed it, as did some european gaming site that is at ECTS (and of course i crapload of other sites that nobody actually goes to) But....whadda ya think?

if they cannot run bnet stable
if their patches do more damage then any given MS product ..
do u think they can pull this one off ?

Well, this will be the first Blizzard title I am not buying..not because it doesn't look good, or that they may or may not be able to pull this off....I just hate these monthly fee RPG games that you can only play on the net. Sorry...I just can't stand them.

I'll buy it, and I'll play it for a month or two, then I'll decide. These games seem popular and it's in a place that I like, medieval.
[EDIT]Where the hell can I get the damned trailer and gameplay footage? Every site I've tried to get it from (blizzard.com, fileplanet.com's list of mirrors, warcraftiii.net) has given me a can't connect error.[/EDIT]
[EDIT AGAIN]I found the movies on some hidden server that some guy set up in case blizzard took them down. But the gameplay movie says it's not a file that quicktime understands...I have the latest version, and the trailer worked fine. I hate it when stuff like this happens[/EDIT]

I just realized, this will be one game that I want to get but I wont. I figure release date will be 2003 or later...well, 2003 ill be in my freshman year at college, Ill have more important things to worry about. I think ill keep all of my games packed away at college anyway. Dont want them getting in my way. Once I go off for college youll prolly rarely see me for the next 5 years =\ thats life.

The gameplay footage looks really sweet, although I dunno if Blizz can pull it off, with their sucky netcode and unstable servers andall...

I foudnt hem on the blizzard site. For some reason they kept timing out, so I had to wait like 20 hours before I could stabily connect.

Monthly Fee? boohoo... i wonder how much the fee will be around. I always thought blizzard would stay to their free internet playing slogan thingimagigy

if worlds of warcraft even has a chance in hell ofbeing a playable game they have to offer premium servers for it.
there's an idea for you.
Can PLAY on b.net, but if you want top quality (hah hah) servers, you have to pay
