(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I have a couple of questions about making a site:
1.Does it cost any thing?
2.How do I make one?
3.Where and how do I start?
Any help would be great.

I honestly don't have a lot of experience with web design, but I may be able to say a few things. I once had my own little crappy page on HomeStead that lasted about 2 months.
To answer your first question (to a limited extent),
You can choose to pay for a webpage or not. There are plenty of places out there that will let you have your own page for free, albeit under certain conditions. I believe you can also buy a web domain/address thingy from other places, making the name yours. They can be expensive though. Google has info on this is you want more information.
Second Question,
There is no set way to build a web-page. HTML editors exist out there in which you can do evertyhing manually. Hell, you can make on in notepad if you have enough experience. My brother did that once. There are lots of books and othe resources that will give you the basics when it comes to web design. Some of the sites that allow you to use their services to build a web page will give you editors of their own. I know HomeStead did for me, at least.
Third Question,
Google, and any other serach engine will have plenty of sites and advice to help you start on your webpage. I really can't say much else.
I know this isn't much, but I hope it helps, at least a little bit. Good luck with your webpage.

You can go to Geocities and find the 'free' link to start making a free webpage.

I don't know if it's doing it now, but Geocities was giving me ad problems, giving me three ad-boxes at a time and you couldn't close them. The Pagebuilder is pretty good though.

Yeah, Geocities is alright, but I think I meant to actually say Tripod anyway so...
I like Tripod because it has more advanced features as well as ease of use.
