Copying harddisk files to new harddisk

Hi all. Need some help here. I am using two harddisks.....the primary harddisk(Drive C) contains my OS(Win 98 SE) and the secondary harddisk(partitioned into Drives D, E and F) are where I store and save my files. I am planning to replace the secondary harddisk as it is making strange noises and maybe about to give up the ghost. I don't know how to copy the files in the secondary harddisk to a replacement harddisk. Help please. Thanks.

Well, you can burn them to a CD or depending how your system is configured, you can install the new HD in the computer and copy the files over before you remove the old HD.

just have both drives installed at the same time, preferably on different ide channels, and start to copy. you can probably take a nap or make dinner while you wait.
