Windows XP SP2 and AOL games

Up till about 10 days ago, I played games on AOL and then joined Club Pogo, played on there about 3 days. Then I downloaded Service Pack 2 for Windows. Next day I go to play games. Click on the game, pick a game room, a window comes up, please wait game is loading. Another window comes up saying I don't have Java or I need to update. The games can not be loaded without them. It says click here to download Java. I did. I still get the same thing. I called AOL. We cleared out web browsers, changed settings, everything. They segusted I remove SP2. I did and then I couldn't get to a game room. I contacted Microsoft, they had me to clear out caches and set defaults. And I reinstalled SP 2. The next day, when none of this did any good. I done a system information scan, copied and pasted it on the game and what it was doing. They told me, they would contact me in 24 hours by email. That was 2 days ago. I can not contact Club pogo, they say I don't have a valid email address!!

I can go to Yahoo and Internet Explorer and play games all day and never have any problems at all. But not AOL or pogo games. I have Microsoft VM. When I try to get tech help on line on AOL. I'll type in my compliant, but when I click on chat now. It takes me to my home page. I don't know what is going on. I know nothing about computers, but it seems when I am able to reach someone, they blame it on someone else. I just want to know how to get it fixed and move on.

Also I have Norton Internet Security 2004. I've talked with them, reconfigured and they say Norton is not the problem. On SP 2, I have disabled their firewall, and I am allowing pop ups on the games.

Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Connie
