What really itches my pits is that there is truely NO DIFFERENCE between the partys. Certainly not now. Both are under the thumb or on the payroll of the Mega-Corporations who have less incentive to tread constitutionality.

This whole election is nothing more than a FOX network reality show staged to entertain the masses. We get drama. We get accusations. Dirty Tricks. Unexpected developments. and then someone gets voted off the island. I haven't heard diddily about any of the issues that are important to those of us who try hard to make a living here. or go to school here. or get sick here. or retire here.

The ones with the money run this country. money is power. That's why the regular smucks aren't allow to keep much beyond subsistance living. That's why it takes two incomes to make a household work these days. We got payroll taxes. retirement taxes. sales taxes. income taxes. luxury taxes. taxes disguised as fees.

What do the rich get? They get off scot free. Do the research. How much do you think they pay in taxes? Less than 30% of the corporations in this country pay any tax. Most of them have moved their offices to places overseas and avoid taxation while claiming the right to market their goods as American Made.

Wal-mart doesn't buy American goods. Neither does Kmart. or Walgreens or Pier One. Most of our Auto and Steel Industrys are no longer American owned. Neither are TVs, PCs, Ipods, and whatever other electrical gear you can name. We got so many sweetheart secret deals going with our allies and enemies that any politcal incident is probably a business misunderstanding or a late payment on a contract.

Suggest everyone read up on the Robber Barons of the late 1800's early 1900s. I see the similarity with what we have now. Only difference. We don't have anyone as President or in Congress with the balls to put the rights of the people above lining their own pockets. Bush and Cheney don't even pretend they aren't robbing us blind, they just do it and WE let them.

Want to change the world? How about a Constitutional Amendment that actually makes sense -- mandating an overhaul of the Balloting process for Political Office to include a choice that says: "NONE OF THE ABOVE or RANDOM COMPUTER PICK OF THE CANDIDATES AVAILABLE"

The constitution is dead. Our only hope for salvation is for me to take the throne, and silence the throng of impudence with the iron fist of a benevolent tyrant.

We already have one in office ... wait your turn

I watched the bush speech and I litteraly said "Oh my dear sweet mother of god, we are in deep shit".

If you paid attention to the speech, it was scary. Extremely scary. His whole speech was about what he would do in the next 4 years, not from the view of that he has been president for the last 4 years, but as if he were a new candidate.

The only thing good that came out of the RNC was the highly entertaining Senator Miller on Hardball. My god that was pure comedy. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5886749/?#040902

you missed the key word 'benelovent'

Kinda reminds me of Benny Vent from the neighborhood. We called him Benny Lo Vent cause he always asked you if you were okay and said I'm sorry after he beat the sh*tZ out of youz.

Is there any way we can download the stream? Quicktime Plugin won't allow that & there is no direct link to the clip which can only be played online but I'd like to save it on disk..

EDIT: forget that - I simply saved the entire web page -)

EDIT²: why can't we delete our own posts? http://www.touslessmileys.com/smileys/PPC/ppc_015.gif
