tech help and/or contact number for yahoo tech support!

Hi,
My yahoo mail (and actually anything on yahoo by now) is taking literally 3-5 hours to download. Since my fax line is connected to my email, I'm literally stuck all day where I can't read emails or faxes coming in to my yahoo email address. Do you know a tech support phone number for yahoo or what I can do regarding the near death of their site? (My earthlink connection and google are a little slow today but are essentialy fine.) I have dial up service.
Also, I have Microsoft works, not word and when I get attachments on my email (on other days when my email worked!) I can't open them because they say that the file couldn't be saved because it couldn't be read. Do you happen to know what the problem is there?
thanks for any ideas-or even just a yahoo phone number! I'm not sure how your system works-I'm hoping there'll be some notice on my earthlink site if you guys answer.

Unfortunately, for something that is as big as Yahoo, I doubt there will be a direct support phone number that you can find for it...

My basic advice is: Yahoo mail is pathetic, unless you pay for a large gig+ account and opt for no ad's, no toolbars etc, only then is it worthy
