I noticed a screen that said.... "begining to dump physical memor"
i panic'd and shut it off...got the blue screen of death... went to bed...three times now it works when it is cold...but while it runs for awhile the message that comes up is ------->
Kernal_Stack_Impage_error then beginning to dump physical memory...
well i hit start or reset whatever it takes..
it works it seems once it has been off for at least 1-3 hours...
Cud it be the fan? I took the cover off and set a fan on it for now...
Is this a motherboard , memory, or driver prob..?
what do i do..
for now i been online for a bit..and when the screen comes up i am inclined to shut it dwn quick..is that a resolution?
Please help, i would be grateful..
Thank you..

found this site maybe it will help:

http://www.microsoft.com/resources/...md_stp_ogli.asp

Ii says that the "page of kernel data requested from the paging (virtual memory) file could not be found or read into memory", so do scandisk or the problem could be from, "failed memory hardware, such as memory modules, Level 2 (L2) SRAM cache, or video adapter RAM.".

Hope this narrows the possiblilities...

a physical memory dump is usually from bad ram. if the ram is overheating, that would do it as well. youre not overclocking are you? if the fan bit works, then youve isolated the problem. if it doesnt, run a ram tester. www.memtest.org
