Here Symantec gives you detailed instructions on how to remove this adware. If you follow their instructions, you should be able to remove this particular piece of adware from you machine, but I suspect that, like many of us, you have more problems than this one.

Download the latest version of Spybot from either:
www.safer-networking.org
www.spybot.info
Install spybot and install into C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy.
Run Spybot by clicking on "Start" "Programs" "Spybot - Search & Destroy" "Spybot - Search & Destroy".
The first time you run it, allow it to create a backup of your registry when prompted. This will take a few minutes to complete.
Click on "Search for Updates", and download any that are available.
Click on "Immunize" and once it detects what has or has not been blocked, click on the green plus sign next to immunize at the top.
Click on "Search & Destroy" "Check for Problems".
If any problems are found, be sure to click "Fix Selected Problems."

Also download and run adaware. Run it in safe mode (reboot your computer and either hold down the ctrl key, or hit f8 before the windows screen comes up. Then when you are at the screen that ask you to boot into normal or safe mode, choose safe mode)

If you use and update these programs regularly, your popups should decrease. If you download the google toolbar, that should eliminate some of the popups as well. Here is the site: http://toolbar.google.com/

If you want some more advanced help, go to this web address http://www.greyknight17.com/spyware.htm
He is a spyware genius and has helped me immensely.

Good luck with getting rid of these annoying things!
