MSN Messenger

I recently downloaded Firefox(obviously a Godsend), but I can't get MSN Messenger to bring my email up in a Firefox browser. Is there anyway to change the messenger so it will open my email with Firefox instead of IE? It wouldn't bother me so much except that when I disconnect from the internet the IE turns the "Work Offline" option on. And everytime I connect I have to open IE & disable the option so my messenger can run, ultimitely it slows the connection down quite a bit. Any ideas?

Personally I do not have the answer but talked to my colleagues about it and about half of them said that MSN and Firefox has problem working together, but that is their opinion at the moment and we all believe that in the near future it will change.
Orginally Mozilla (Firefox) comes from Linux side.
Here a reference manual site that might give more inside info.

Hope it gives some help.
