WTF is up with Floridians?

Sorry for anyone here from Florida, but I work Tech support for a telco ISP..
A lady calls in said the eye has past and wants to get online.
Wants us to help with the connection. List of things that happens:
)1: Power goes out while on the phone with us...
)2: Lightning strikes the backup generator she is using...
)3: Phone drops out...
)4: Calls back to say power is back on but had to use her cell to call us....(this is dsl)
Now, what is wrong with this picture?
I sit here amazed at some people..
(In all fairness it was the only Florida call we received.)

Then they should all be deported there, followed by many nuclear explosions, thus seperating the state from the US and sending them floating down to cuba. Where they can stay.

anyway, I'm sure idiocy isn't just limited to Florida... they just tend to call up instead of trying to fix it on their own - which creates new problems, anyway
