hey the other day i posted a problem i was having with GTA:Vice City (see http://www.opentechsupport.net/foru...ead.php?t=28470 for more details).
the problem is that about halfway into a game (be it 5 minutes of 40 minutes) my screen suddenly goes plank and says there is no signal, i then have to reboot my pc and restart from scratch. At first i thought that this was a problem with GTA:VC but i then installed FarCry, Red Faction2 and Colin McRae 4 and they all had the same problems, now i thought that it could be a graphics problem as i am using a new PC. i have never tired these games on any other PC.
As i thought it was a hardware problem you cna imagine my amazment when i tired installing Doom3 to find that lo and behold it worked. that and UT2k4 ar ethe only ones of anyof my relativly new games that actually works. does anyone have any idea what could eb causing this problem. a mate of mine said that it could be the fact that my system supports the fact that i can have two monitors running from the same PC and it might be trying to change between them. i tired plugging another monitor into my other monitor plug and it didnt even work. so i am left here with a brand new computer and brand new games that crash my PC every 5-10 minutes. any ideas would be helpful.
My System Specs;

ATI Radeon 9800 series 256Mb card
3.4GHz P4
plenty of disk space
1Gig of RAM.
