So anyone else find this funny? Or more specifically anyone else who's read Snow Crash find this funny?

There is a serious hole in my left sock. The irony, I use it only for walking. Expect a security bulletin soon.

I run WinXP and I used to use IE 6 with the latest updates. Right before I reformatted and reinstalled windows IE started to give me wierd errors when I would browse the sites I normally went to. Eventually IE would just crash and not open correctly. So I started to look at alternative broswers.

The broswer I decided on was Mozilla Firefox. This broswer is great! It has tabbed broswing, integrated popup blocker, a small google search on the top bar, and loads of other features. I'm just now trying to figure out the RSS feature, which will help me keep up with slashdot news.

Here is the link for the newest release of Firefox: Mozilla Firefox PR1.0

I'm not saying you have to switch, but with all of the security problems that has always plagued IE makes it difficult to not think about switching to an alternative. Not to mention that MS announced they will no longer provide security updates for IE for people who run any older OS than WinXP; this includes windows 2000.

Here is the link: No IE updates
