World Of Warcraft 5$ monthly

Hello fellow gamers my name is well, thats not very important. I would like to spread this message to every blizzard fan that exists, please spread this to all your friends, hopefully it will reach blizzard, first off the disscussion is about |The World Of Warcraft| I was one of the lucky people who was able to be in the |World Of Warcraft| stress test. First thing first, how many gamers have a godly aura in their head when they reach into their brain and think of BLIZZARD? Ground breaking game design if you ask me, I believe many would kindly agree, Blizzard games break the sound barrier in gameplay that surpass all all other game designers that they compete with, they are the best of the best. Another game comes to mind that i fear will compete with blizzards game very much, the game is name Guild Wars. I have played it. The Graphics are revolutionary in terms of MMORPG'S but the gameplay in no terms is as great as of the one blizzard has set up for us, two differances set them apart. Guild Wars will be completely free for the rest of you life while |World Of Warcraft| will have a monthly fee. I believe the tradeoff is well worth it because blizzards game really shows its colors in terms of a game that will always, and i mean till eternity always keep you coming back for more. 1 thing really makes me worry is blizzard may make a bad decision and make that fee to much. My proposal? Blizzard, please donot choose to make it 10$-15$ a month. I propose you make it 5$ my reason being is..1 example is has more chance in surviving the gaming world of it has value, I think blizzard would easily be considered #1 MMORPG on the market because of its quality/value if they charge 5$ a month. When people talk about everquest all i'v heard is it was a money machine, At the time i was playing Diablo II, I'v never played everquest. But think about it,think of how many copies Diablo II has sold compared to everquest. Not only that when you read the back of the box and saw that it was completely free servers you would be playing on completely free servers that made it very appealing. I believe if you took every american back in the day and made each person decide on wich product they would be perchasing, I bet more than majority would choose diablo over everquest. Now I think Blizzard deserves to make a profit off of |The World Of Warcraft| don't get me wrong, I know they have servers to keep up with. Alot more work than keeping the Diablo II servers up and running. I think it is more important to have more people know about their game than to be making more of a profit off it reason being it takes you farther. Have you seen the taco bell commercials? I'm Full! from a value menu, keep your wallet full. I think this is the same concept blizzard should use in releasing |WOW| when it goese gold, They are in the World records for their ability to sell millions and millions of copies of games. I think a 10$-15$ will turn your average customer away from the product, I hear people complain that they donot want young kids playing the game so they would gladly play really out of the question fees to keep them from playing. I think blizzard makes their games for every body. Not just the old people who think they are superior. I'm 21,i am not adult but i am not age-ism. I think making the game only 5$ a month sounds very risky, but if you think about it, there is no way it would not succeed. Mc Donalds and Taco bell make more money than all there competitors because they offer reasnable prices for every 1 in America, Not just the people who can afford it, I hear people say that they will not be able to keep adding content to the game if they donot make enough money, Guild Wars will be updating their game content adding new quests, areas of the world, items, etc free of charge, sure they are taking a long shot but hey, they know their product will keep the customers coming back for more, and spreading it to other gamers. Blizzard may not get the exposure to be the #1 MMORPG on the market if they do not get the exposure. I bet the likely hood of a player paying 5$ a month opposed to 10$ will stay in the cheaper game community. Donot lock out some of your customers Blizzard. I think reducing a monthly fee can seem very risky. But if you look at it in terms of long term investment you have nothing to worry about. Please gamers, Spread the word before it is too late, because if we do not do this now, we will be regreting it forever...please let my message reach the blizzard staff I cannot contact them i am not in the beta, please pass this to a open beta user "I love you blizzard.. I cannot think of a world without you" Your Loyal Fan, Mr Gamer

They will make money if they charge $5 a money but then again they would probably make more money if you charged 10$ a month. My younger bro has toontown online and my parents are paying 10$a month for it. If they charged 15 i wouldn't buy the game but ten or twelve i would.

no, actually, at $5 a month, they wouldnt make a profit. its expensive to run a graphical mmorpg.

They would LOSE money at $5 per month.

If you dont like the price, dont buy it, dont play, and dont spread your lower the price message. It aint gonna happen and talking about it acomplishes nothing but annoy people and take up forum webspace.

You're 21 and you don't know how to write in paragraphs?

On a more related note:
McDonald's and Taco Bell make money not because their meals are affordable to the average consumer, but because the "meals" they serve are pure crap. The "value" doesn't exist because you're paying a dollar for something that's probably worth at most 10 cents.
Blizzard, on the other hand, is giving you a GAME with all the servers and support necessary for everyone to enjoy it. While I cannot judge whether $15 is excessive or comparable to the kind of "value" you get at a fast food restaurant, I CAN tell you that $5 a month isn't going to cut it.

You may as well start asking McDonalds and Taco Bells to reduce their value meal prices to $1 each, and charge only a dime for a cheeseburger.
