I just recently upgraded my computer. After I upgraded my com, I boot it up with old OS(Means Neva Reinstall). Then I found out my windows failed to startup. Stuck after d346bus.sys (during startup). Then I sacrifice and did a clean install of the OS because reinstall did not works!!!
My comp works fine! After few weeks using it, I bought one game called sims2. Then I found out my game crashes ramdomly. I contacted EA for game support and they suggest me to "End Process" programs under my user. Using Alt + Ctrl + Del. I tried thier method and ended the process. The game still crashes. Then I restarted my comp.
When I get back to windows, most of my auto-startup programs did not start. (I means task bar became very short). My active-sync for Pocket PC dun work anymore. As well as 3dsMax6, license authentication error.
The main touble arrises, I did a system restore today. Only C: were restored. When my computer restarts, my old problem backed again!!! Stuck at Startup screen and restart!!! I suspect d346bus.SYS and d346prt.SYS did not work. But I bootup using winXP CD and enter (R)epair mode and Disable Startup for d346bus.SYS and d346prt.SYS. This attempt did not work!!! My system still Restart.
I dun expect to reinstall my computer because that would be toublesome.
I NEED HELP ASAP, thanks a bunch!!!

you can attempt a repair installation, but most likely, youll need to do a full wipe of the drive, including the partitions. shouldnt have done the restore
