gmail help

Forgot my password to my gmail account.

I've tried every possible version of passwords that I might have typed in, including the one I feel sure is correct. Keep getting: sign in name and password do not match.

When asked to answer my security question, which I remember well, I answer it, and get message that it is incorrect. I've tried spelling the answer incorrectly several ways in case I typed it incorrectly initially.

When I ask for password change to be sent to my other email address given for this purpose, I get a message that it will be sent to my aol.com email address.

Problem is... I don't have an aol.com email account and so could not have given one.

I've been through this hoop several times and still the same result. This is confusing and frustrating.

Any ideas?

There doesn't seem to be anyway to contact gMail about this problem. (I've already wasted too much time on this!)

Molly

either your account name isnt what you think it is, or its the usual beta nonsense.

account name is accurate. Anything I can do about the beta nonsense?
