CRC Error !!!

I'm trying to Install Cricket 2004 game. I'm getting error in the middle of the Installation...
" the file k:\cricket\cricket_pc.gob doesn't match the file in the setup's cab file. The medium from which you are running the setup may be corrupted: contact your software vendor."
I've surffed net for all 2 days.. i don't have a solution, but only saw many cases like mine ... i've done so far ....
1. Disabled to DMA
2. Cleared the Temp folder
3. Updated with windows security patch
Nothing has worked !!!
i've changed the game cds.. gotta new one and facing the same error..
i also came up with the following likely solutions in the forums
1. try to install in another pc
2. Ignore the error, and continue..and extract the files manually...
i've decided to try the second option...
i ignored the error and proceeded the installation, but i can't extract the file from the cab files.. these are the files...
1. data1.hdr 54kb
2. data1.cab 592kb
3. data2.cab 504,960 kb
Please !!!!!!!! Help me !!!!!!!! how to extract the files..

a crc check error (cyclic redundancy check), is the error your get when you cd is missing the "inferable data" that will only exist on a professionally manufactured cd. normal cd burners know how to burn the files on a cd. but not in the exact way a professionally manufactured cd has. there is a copy protection (well actually error prevention, but they use it for copy protection also) algorithm that identifies what bits should be based on the fact that the professional manufactured cd doesnt have complete 1s or 0s in some of its bits, and the hardware will have to infer what is at that location.
it is copy protection that checks to make sure it wasnt digitally (only 1s and 0s; no in betweens -which arent possible in most consumer cd burners) transfered to the media.
either you have almost non existant damage on one bit, or you are not using the original cd.

Yup... this is not an Orignal cd...burned it from friends...
but i feel that if any how i can sneek into the cab files i can get them ...

Please go buy the actual game. Support the hard work of game developers.. they gotta get paid somehow!
