Illegal Immigration

OK, here is a topic to rant and rave about, your opinion on Illegal immigration and illegal aliens ( I don't agree with the term "undocumented citizens" because that is pure BS, illegal is illegal).

What do you think?

Closing our borders is an overly drastic measure to get rid of illegal immigration. Immigrants are a large part of why America has prospered. People searching for the American dream are what made America what it is.

Isn't it ironic that California, which has the largest number of illegal immigrants, is also (debatably) the richest and most successful state in this country? Same can be said about New York. I dunno about Texas, I think they have stricter immigration laws there, but I digress

We need better customs and immigration laws, better background checking, and no racial profiling. Canada has a very nice immigration program. Closing our borders to prevent illegal immigrants is like turning off the radio just coz you think it's too loud...

um, if you close your borders, that only stops legal immigration. doesnt do jack about illegal, they dont usually go through the formal border crossings.

sorry, didnt clarify very well, give me ur opinion on how the problems with illegal aliens should be dealt with, there, thats what i meant to say, do you think they should be given rights or not allowed any rights and shipped out ASAP

never become a business man

Mexico has so many people living in poverty because it really doesnt have any business. Even in the big cities, theres really not much. There should be U.S. Law mandating if a country operating in the U.S. uses Mexico or other countries to manufactuer their product, they must pay the workers the works at least Minimum wage for the state they are based in. Not the $.24 an hour that they would get in mexico.

some of mexico's finacial difficulties are part in parcell with there neighbor to the north. with out including the U.S.'s culpibility you can't honestly discuss the illegal imagration problem.
