Well I just spent like what $80 on FF 7-8 for computer. It's a singapore copy of it. It's all in English and should work , Which it'll go to the Install screen and mess up after I click install. On FF7 I click the install thing, Then the black screen with the opening installations goes off and everything stops. I've tried going in and opening like a windows 95 on compatability and it does the same thing. I don't know what to do . I have a Windows XP home Edition. Please I need help on this badly. Everything seems to be in there...I don't know how to make it last after the install thing. I click install then the program shuts off. Then on FF8 I click install. And it makes that sound. Then stays normal and doesn't do a thing. How do I get them to work? This is stressing me out badly. I will appreciate any help on this. I need it badly.

do you have similar problems installing other games?
maybe the copy is bad? try another set of copy.

How can the copy be bad, It's brand new. I opened it from the plastic sealed paper and mint box.

Sine they create thousands of copies there are bound to be a few faulty cracked or even scratched ones, all he is saying is that it MIGHT be a bad one, simply make sure that the cd's are indeed not defective by testing them either on a different machine, or checking another copy of the game on your machine.
