Radeon graphics card won't work with warcraft 3 and expansion. why?

Kli-Dreen here, I've got a Radeon 9800 Pro graphics card adn whenever i try to run warcraft 3 or frozen throne it gives me an error message: "memory can not be read"
Can anyone tell me why this is happening? and how to solve it? its really frusterating.

almost forgot sometimes its "memory could not be written"
