undefined Hi - this is my first post. Looking for info/help on this. I just upgraded to Norton Int Security 2005 from 2003 version. I get the following errors when I try to config the personal firewall: IE Script Error .. unspecified error.. res://nisplug.dll//homenetworking.htm Also another with .... dll//programcontrol.htm. I have broadband access and a linksys firewall router. Everything was great until today ! Any ideas? Much appreciated

Read the manual few times. )

Have you visited www.symantec.com and their database about the errors.
If you saw an error code during the installation that should allow you to acces straight to the correct help via the Internet.

You could uninstall the NIS2005 and re-install it but before the re-installation read the instructions and make sure that any traces to the previous installation are removed.
NIS leaves lots of files behind, even when uninstalled.

Norton is a powerfull and power hungry software and has to be installed on a clean OS and PC without bugs. There is no security software awailable that can be installed to 'damaged' computer.
