Sound problem with Alias

Hi
Whenever I try to play the PC game Alias, the sound is choppy and keeps cutting out. I have the latest sound drivers.
Also, I have tried to contact tech support at Acclaim, but I keep getting a "cannot find server" error for their site.
Any ideas?
