I just put this thing together and fired it up, but I get no visual. Monitor is plugged into the vid card and yes it has power. CD drives come to life, case fans on, cpu fan on. The monitor was working fine with my old athlon 1700 3 days ago and I just plugged it in again to use today with my new setup. The only thing I cannot verify is if the HD's are working because I can't see anything.
I have the HD's plugged into the primary ide connector on the mb, and the cd's into the secondary ide connecter.
Any help is appreciated.

remove all the drives and pci cards, and reseat the video card, including the power connector.

my dad just figured it out. I forgot to plug in the ATX power connector on the board. It's the simple things that we think of last.
