yahoo messenger wont let me install

Im trying to install Yahoo IM, but when i get to the dload page it sends up an error that says You do nat have access to make system configuration changes. I dont get it. Im the only user on this computer, and I am the admin. Why wouldnt the computer admin have the rights to install this program? or is there something im missing in the account settings?

also, as soon as i open the install download, a little yellow triangle w/ an exclamation point in it shows up in the tray on the bottom. left and right clicking it does nothing.
