FireFox 1.0

Just wondering. I currently have FireFox .9 as my default web browser. I have it set up just like I like it. It's tweaked, got the extensions I like, have all the security settings just like I want. I'd like to upgrade to 1.0 however is it best I reconfigure everything, or is there a way to save my existing settings?

Most extensions/themes have been updated to be compatible with 1.0PR. I suggest you back up your irreplaceable files (bookmarks.html, user.js etc.) and start fresh with a new profile. That's what I did anyway.

From what I have observed, people have trouble when using profiles from earlier versions with the 1.0PR release.

I haven't used this, but it might be more convenient than backing up manually:

MozBackup

Once 1.0 final is out, starting over with new profiles should be a thing of the past.
