IANAG Launches Startup Library Database

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

The guys over at I Am Not A Geek (IANAG) have launched its startup library database, which will hopefully include almost everything you need to know about which programs should normally be running during startup, and which ones don't.

Very handy for those who are wondering why their systems are very slow during startup. Bookmark their comprehensive list here, as it will get regularly updated in the future.

Thanks Laggy! I also use their "paranoid" program and I've been very happy with it.

fairly comprehensive, except they left out all the legit microsoft services, and dont tell you how to detect the difference. anyone looking at that list that didnt know that svchost was necessary to run xp would really foul up their computer nicely.
