If your talking about port forwarding it is kinda simple but a bit of a pain...if you have windows XP that is

First go to start menu then "run" type in command and hit enter. It'll take you to a small DOS like window type in ipconfig and hit enter it will show you your IP address and default gateway and some other stuff. take the gateway code and your IP address...you'll need it later.

open up your web browser and type in your gateway address it'll be something like 192.168.0.1 maybe different numbers but anyway type it in the address bar nothing else NO www and NO .com

a window will pop up asking for username and password for name type ADMIN and for password type PASSWORD. this will take you to a site scroll down the left bar of the page and look for port forwarding under the ADVANCED heading. then add whatever service name you want and in the IP address bar type in your actuall IP address not the deafault gateway. you get that address same place you got the gateway. Once you've done all that just hit add and you should be set minus having to turn off any firewalls you may be running.

I hope it works and I hope this is what you need...if it doesn't work I got some more ideas so just hit me back
