can someone tell me what these are?

I have been pestered with two annoyances, the first
My browser keeps getting hijacked and changed to about:blank
and i keep getting a pop-up usually porn but sometimes something else, that always has the same heading "Only the Best"
Does anyone know what the above is, and more importantly, how do i get rid of both of them if possible.

You'll need to run some spyware removal software There's a link to a couple here..

Ad-aware abd Spybot search and destroy are the top two. Hijack this is also good..

And finally, the best way to keep from getting more spyware is to use the Mozilla Firefox browser. It's more secure, faster, and just plain better.

about:blank is what is replaced when a homepage is unhijacked with spybot s&d
not a hijack, just absence of a homepage

True! But pop-up porn ads can't be good either.
